Radford Neville

Founder and Company Director


Radford Neville began his career as a floor runner on Peak Practice, making tea, stopping traffic and herding cows. He became a First Assistant Director and worked on many high profile dramas including Cracker, Spooks, Ashes to Ashes, Hornblower, Wallander, Jane Eyre and Britz. In 2007 he became a producer on Eastenders.

Radford went on to produce many shows including Wuthering Heights, written by Peter Bowker and starring Tom Hardy, Andrew Lincoln and Sarah Lancashire; Loving Miss Hatto, written by Victoria Wood and starring Alfred Molina, Francesca Annis and Rory Kinnear; The Game, written by Toby Whithouse and starring Brian Cox, Tom Hughes and Victoria Hamilton; Youngers, written by Levi David Addai and starring an exceptional cast of new talent; and The Borrowers, written by Ben Vanstone and starring Stephen Fry, Victoria Wood, Christopher Eccleston and Sharon Horgan.

In 2017, after a stint as an Executive Producer at Left Bank Pictures, Radford joined BBC Studios as Head of Production in Drama where he oversaw Doctor Who, Good Omens for Amazon, Silent Witness, Luther, Our Girl, Les Miserables, The Left Behind and MotherFatherSon. From November 2018 to December 2019 he was Acting Managing Director of Scripted Television, before leaving to set up The Lighthouse.

At The Lighthouse Radford oversees all Production matters while developing and Executive Producing a slate of new dramas.
